ifugio Crucolo is named after the place where it was built and where the restaurant is still located nowadays which in Italian is cucuzzolo (EN. summit). The restaurant lies in the heart of one of the most beautiful valleys of Trentino, Val Campelle, which is situated halfway between Valsugana and the mountain chain Lagorai.
The Family that manages Rifugio Crucolo since 1782, has become a historic feat. Thanks to the loyalty of customers, the company has grown year after year, so much as to be able to affirm its own brand in the world of charcuteries, cheese and liqueurs.
Parampampoli is the liquor invented by Giordano Purin in the ‘50s when, intuitively and fortuitously, he mixed coffee, wine, grappa and sugar, before the flame from the fireplace did the rest by setting the mixture on fire. Since then, Parampampoli has become Rifugio Crucolo’s signature drink.
