Rifugio Crucolo is located in the centre of Trentino, in the heartland of custom and tradition. The refuge’s restaurant is a haven where guests can discover the traditional warmth of a mountain welcome as well as enjoy its rich and varied menu - the outcome of a long-standing experience with deep roots in the history of the area.

Here, each product and each dish represent the end point of a long journey that can trace its origins back into agricultural culture. Minestrones and soups (with porcini mushrooms, as well as others), canederli, polenta, pork chops, grilled lucanica sausage and krauts, spare ribs, cotechino, rabbit and melted cheese are all part of the traditional fare enjoyed where the refuge is found. Its bountiful menu is served side by side to excellent local wines. Furthermore, the whole experience can be rounded off with a well-deserved cup of Parampampoli, a grappa-based digestive liqueur: a winning formula for a perfect, carefree evening! Guests can leave all their city worries behind at the Rifugio Crucolo and spend a cheerful evening surrounded by good music and Trentino folk songs. Last but not least, the doors of the refuge’s underground cellars lead a world where the sky is filled with salamis, the trees are made of cheese and the wine... flows as freely as a river!
