Traditionally, every family in Trentino used to rear its own pig and feed it potatoes, acorns and kitchen scraps to give its meat a genuine, characteristic flavour. However, over the years, this tradition slowly died out.

The Crucolo farm has rediscovered this ancient, artisanal tradition and offers consumers top quality products made from a selection of animals born and reared either in Italy or in Trentino, guaranteed by the Filiera Agroalimentare Trentina.
