Valsugana is found in the eastern corner of Trentino, nestled between the peaks of the Lagorai mountain range and the Cima d'Asta massif.
The valley is both a natural and historical link between Trento and Venice. Furthermore, its landscape is still untainted and uncontaminated, since it is far removed from the bustle of the city, albeit remaining easily reachable.
Visiting Valsugana means being surrounded by medieval castles, vineyards, fruit orchards, lakes and dazzling mountains. The variety of the area provides tourists with endless possibilities, from spending a day on the beach of a lake, to travelling its many cycle paths, from taking a hike in the Lagorai to going horseback riding, as well as playing golf in the summer or skiing in winter. All this without forgetting Trentino’s delicious culinary attractions, whose primary promoters are Rifugio Crucolo and Hotel Spera.
